MR. AND MS. SPORTFEST 2013

Actually, I love watching beauty contest, models, specially the Victoria's Fashion Show. I was amazed by their Cat walk, how they project and I used to imagine of having the qualities they have.

Every year, were celebrating Sport Fest in our School. It is competition of different departments in any events. 

The month of August was scheduled of our Sport fest. Every players wore their uniforms representing their departments. They played energetic and sporty to achieve victory. But one of the most exciting event was the beauty contest, where gorgeous ladies and handsome gentleman compete for the crown.

At first,  i was not bothered when my friends told me they already wrote my name as one of the candidates because I know they were just teasing me and in fact I don't have the qualities.

A days go on, I realize it was not a joke. My name was still on the list of the candidates. I did try to talk to them that I'm not fit to that contest but the answer I've receive was encouragement and they all teasing me "whats the use of 5 inch heel". I think for one day and uttered "Ok, i will try"!

The qualification was that He or She must be a bonafied student of BSBT. First, we signed a form and had a pictorial at Prism Studio where they will choose Mr. and Ms. Photogenic. We are all  26 candidates, 13 male and 13 female.

After the pictorial, we start to practice for our production number. Our choreographer was Mr. Virgilio Pitas. He is also a student of our school. It took almost one week for us to practice our steps and our catwalk. For that week, friendship was build. We share laughter's, and stories.

The pageant was scheduled on August 22 but because of the bad weather it was moved on to 23, Friday. 


Wow!! This is it!! the most awaiting and exciting moment.
Everything was set,from decorations,light and the sound systems. Everyone holds their ticket and eager to get in the hall to take the first seat. They are all shouting as the M.C call us the candidates for our production number. We wore jeans and white shirt. on our production, I feel shivering cause this is my first time to join but the latter i feel relax and flow with the music.

After the production, we do catwalk wearing our casual attire. Because I'm the smallest, I was the first to step on the stage.

Next is the sports wear. For me, I choose badminton and the others are lone tennis, and rider. For the boys, most of them are basketball, some are taekwando and airsoft.

Last is the formal wear. My female co-candidates look so gorgeous on their dresses as they glide on the stage and also with my male candidates to their toxido. As I step on the stage wearing my Golden dress, I feel like it's a dream come true.

After the minor Awards, they choose the top 5.

The basis of choosing Top 5 are the minor awards. I was so

astonished because I didn't expect to be included

and i was happy because my partner got also.
